Cloud hosts (UHosts) can be created or released within minutes, with the capability of online hot upgrades, allowing CPU and memory upgrades or downgrades within 5 minutes. Public network bandwidth can be upgraded or downgraded online, and the custom image function enables easy replication of host data and environments. Open APIs and open-source developer tools are also provided to meet batch management and automated management needs.
High Availability
IDC facilities are rented or self-built in strict accordance with Tier 3+/national standard A, following IDC standards, server admission criteria, and operation and maintenance standards to ensure the high availability of the cloud computing infrastructure, data reliability, and the high availability of cloud servers. Multiple availability zones exist in UCloud Global’s domestic regions, allowing users to build primary-backup or active-active services through multi-availability zone deployment schemes to improve availability. For financial-oriented “two places, three centers” solutions, higher availability services can be built through multi-region and multi-availability zone architectures. Smooth switching can be achieved between UCloud Global’s cloud services, including mature solutions for disaster recovery, backup, and other services.
Stability and Reliability
A service availability of 99.95% and data reliability of no less than 99.9999% are guaranteed. Local disks of UHosts use RAID for data protection to prevent data loss; cloud disks have triple-replica disaster recovery capabilities, IO isolation, and fast data migration capabilities. Kernel optimization, hot patching technology, uninterrupted online migration technology, and data snapshot functions are provided, with hundredfold compensation in case of failures.
High Performance
The host CPU and memory deliver excellent performance metrics. The proprietary storage technology (IO acceleration) enhances random disk read/write IO capabilities by 10 times compared to ordinary SAS disks. SSD-based cloud hosts (UHosts) offer ultra-high IOPS performance. Exceptional network processing capabilities meet the requirements of various business applications.
Safety Guarantee
Complete network isolation between tenants ensures data security. Features such as network firewalls and security groups provide strict access control for public network connections. Second-Level Ark Backup Capability
UDataArk provides continuous data protection (CDP) services for UCloud Global’s local disks/cloud hard disks. As an automatic data backup system completely heterogeneous from local disk/cloud hard disk storage, it maximizes protection against data deletion or loss caused by user errors, hacking attacks, etc. UCloud Global’s Ark product achieves a recovery point objective (RPO) at the second level, supporting recovery to any second within the default 12-hour window. Customized second-level backup intervals can also be configured based on business needs. DataArk’s recovery time objective (RTO) can be as short as 5 minutes for recovery, with 1TB of data restorable within 1 hour. For cloud disk backup solutions, UCloud Global has launched the USnap (disk snapshot) service. Based on DataArk’s CDP technology, it enables snapshot creation for the full range of cloud disks (standard/SSD/RSSD). In addition to the automatic backup capabilities of the underlying Ark system, manual snapshots can also be created.
Flexible CPU and Memory Ratio Capability
