Image Billing
This article introduces the billing methods and cost examples of self-made images of cloud hosts.
Billing Overview
Billing Scenario | Billing Description | Billing Method | Payment Method |
---|---|---|---|
Creating self-made images | Self-made images are images you create with instances or snapshots, and the system charges based on the actual storage space size of the image. | The image is not saved in the cloud disk, does not occupy the cloud disk space, and the image storage fee is charged according to the image capacity (billed by region). | Pay-as-you-go |
Copying self-made images | When copying an image, a corresponding image will be generated in the target region, and the system charges based on the actual storage space size of the image. | When using the image copying function, both the target region and the current region will charge image fees. | Pay-as-you-go |
Arrears Impact
If your account is in arrears and there is an arrear order for the self-made image, there will be the following limits on the use of your self-made image.
Arrearage Time | Usage Limit |
---|---|
Image resource arrears ≤15 days | 1, Unable to create a cloud host through this image 2, Unable to copy this image to other regions |
Image resource arrears >15 days | 1, The system recycles this image resource |
Stop Image Billing
If you no longer use custom images, billing will stop after deleting the images. This includes deleting all images, such as manually created, automatically created, and copied images.
