External Network Access

The external network access solution for Knowledge Insight MAXIR AI relies on the UCloud Global Load Balancer product ALB. ALB provides efficient and secure external load balancing services, helping you efficiently manage and optimize external traffic.

  1. Create an instance: Log in to the ALB Console, click the “Create Load Balancer” button to create an instance, ensuring that the “Elastic IP” option is checked. For pricing details, refer to ALB Product Pricing.
  1. Open Listener Management: Find the target instance on the Console List Page, click the “Listener Management” button to enter the listener management page.
  1. Add Listener: Click the “Add” button to create a listener, set the protocol and corresponding port number, and click the “Confirm” button to create it. Once successful, return to the listener management page.
  1. Add Node: Click the “Add Node” button to associate MAXIR AI instance resource nodes. Here:
  • Resource Type: Internal IP
  • Associated VPC: Corresponds with the VPC information in the basic information of the MAXIR AI instance
  • Listening Port: Default 80
  • Resource: “Management Address” and “Q&A Entrance” IP address in the basic information of the MAXIR AI instance
  1. Health Check: After adding the node, wait for the health check to pass, as shown below.
  1. Create Firewall: If a firewall was not created during the ALB creation, you can create a firewall rule in the security rules. Set the source address to the local address, i.e., the client IP that accesses the ALB. The firewall is not charged.
  1. Connectivity Test: Access address: protocol://external address/port number.
